I'm Julia Rodriguez, a visual storyteller based in Colorado Springs, CO. I make documentary photographs of people and the places they care about, and I design identities, campaigns, and print for churches, nonprofits, and small businesses.
My work has taken me across countries and cultures, documenting stories of hardship, hope, and the everyday moments in between. Whether I'm behind a camera or building a visual identity, I'm driven by the belief that every human life holds more value than we could ever fully comprehend, and that every story deserves to be approached with curiosity, empathy, and respect.

Medellín, Colombia
Served with a ministry that runs women's and men's rehab programs, a shelter, and outreach programs across Medellín and its mountains.
- Taught English classes and led Bible studies with women in the rehab program, living alongside them
- Supported outreach to families displaced by cartel violence, including children’s and sports programs for hundreds of kids
- Delivered food to families in need on foot across the mountain communities
- Started and led an English program at a local high school, connecting students with mentors
- Worked in the ministry’s bakery, which helps fund its programs
